Tutorial

I had a tutorial with on Monday that helped me to decide where to go with my visual journal, I have been trying to explore a range of idea and I think it is time to decide which I think are the strongest and explore variations of them. The two methods of visualisation that I think have worked best up to this point are repetition using holes cut and torn into the paper. it was suggested to me that I could glue in cover pages with doorways cut into them to save pages. A lot of my illustrations appear to show a negative view of empathy because of the theories I have been trying to communicate. What I really want to try and do is present a balanced view point that sums up empathy clearly although I think it will be difficult. I am going to continue to work with character, repetition and doorways to explore and refine my ideas as I think I could make improvements. My aim for the time being is to try and as clearly as possible communicate the effects of empathy on the individual and society.
