I made this poster to try and create a mono print effect, the character is drawn with fine liner then edited digitally. The poster looks a little unclear at this scale but I think it would work at A2. I wanted to find different ways to highlight one of the characters while still keeping the composition and number of colours simple and limited. I would like to try some more designs like these with traditional print processes to see what effects and textures I can create. I am still not sure I have found the right character for this repeat pattern poster. I will experiment more with repeat patterns and try to create characters that link together into a solid pattern and maybe use negative colours ways to highlight a single character.
